History of the housing market shows little indication of slowing down either in the Victoria area. The total housing units sold in 2005 reached 4,214 generating just under 2 billion dollars in home sales. 4285 homes sold in 2004.
The average house selling prices have been increasing since 1998. The average selling price has increased 17% in 2004 over 2003. The average home price in the Victoria area was $463, 399 in 2005. Still climbing.
